Purpose

I created this because I was bored 😴 but I didn't have time to start a new, larger project since at the time of creating this, I had a day left before I have a flight for vacation.

At the same time, I wanted to give SvelteKit a try. Building a weather app is one of the many beginner projects so I thought, why not? That's how this page was created. Nothing fancy ✨.

The basic, initial, features were all added in one day. Any additional features or changes may be added at a later day. So, while technically this web application was done in a day, I do make changes to it every once in a while.

P.S. This may look a bit weird on a device with a larger screen because this was made with mobile in mind.

This web application was made possible thanks to OpenWeather's amazing API. Without it, there would be no real way to get access to weather data. If you are creating your own weather app, I recommend checking them out 😃.

I would like to also extend my thanks to GeoDB Cities for its API which allowed me to create the autocomplete functionality of the search bar 👍.
